Hmmm, when you click on a thread hit the thread title instead of the number next to it (unless you want to go to the last post on that thread then you hit the number). I'm gonna assume you hit the number and didn't read the previous 4 pages of info.
90 percent of the poeple here will tell you no. Some people will tell you yes because they've temporarily kept some other type of fish in a tank for a short period of time (a week to 6 months) while a few will tell you they've kept tankmates in for a year plus.
The most common tankmates are small quick fish (tetras and danios) for large adult piranhas and near same size plecos or larger. Most "success" stories refer to pygos and not serras though as they're notorious solitary.
So give it a try if you're not attached to your pleco, it may work, it probably won't. Can't say we didn't warn you
