I like how one gets ripped when the truth is being told. I do agree with help others out and improving the hobby, but when someone post something that is known to be illegal, should it not be identified as being illegal?

I could careless someone wants to keep something illegally. I just want to point out that it is not very intelligent to do so, as this type of activity would encourage other's to do so.

honestly, whether or not this fish is illegal or not is a moot point. the person is asking for help in saving the life of his pet. all the help you were able to muster was a lame a** attempt at a joke about the fish being illegal. now you complain for being put on blast. lmao get real.
if you don't have some constructive wisdom to help this person out or, at least, a well wish. Keep the "comments" to yourself.

In your own words... If you don't care, why bother to point out, unless it's bother you... Is it really that hard to click the "back" button on the top left corner of your screen? Or you just want "to prove a point?"

That is exactly the point. If you are going to do something illegal, don't advertise it. Keep it to yourself. Unless you promote illegal activities and want to encourage others to do so.

By advertising the fish the way he did, indicates "hey, i got an illegal fish and got away with it". This will promote others to try and increase the smuggling of this fish.

The only reason for Asian Arowanas being in the USA is for huge profit as in any illegal activity.

I am not saying the owner has this fish for profit, but imagine what the fish has gone through getting smuggled into this country.

There are so many acticles of people getting caught try to smuggle wildlife into the USA and the methods use to smuggle the wildlife makes me disgusted

Enhancing the hobby here in the USA includes abiding by all the state and federal laws not just providing recommendation to other hobbist.

I understand that, but this situation is no different than the person asking for help with his Pacu the lives in a 55 gal tank.

Before he would get any help, the responses would be about his poor fish keeping.

You never know who visit this site, what the "members" actually do for a living as some sites have fictious member to monitor illegal activity.

There are big money rewards being paid out for alerting the authorities when an illlegal activity found out.

Many people don't realize how much they're lives are actually being monitored

by the way i have posted something like asking for HELP on this Sub forum... and i ask about the say question, while people gave me help but one person from the forum notices i live in NY on location and next thing i know the thread was close..luckily i found my problem have been solved.. very happy we all chipped in to help out this mker.. and thanks to those who rat it out..

I thought this site was dedicated to the enjoyment of fish keeping. I don't understand why there is so much critizism about other people or vendors. Is the so purpose of having this site is to help each other? Or have people have gotten so shallow that they have to pick on each other to prove a point?
