It is ridculous, it is unbelievable, but it is not funny, regrettably. A 5 yeard old died because of the stupidity of guys who should know better. and that is what makes me furious.

Agree completely. Im sorry but to much emphasis is being put on the fact that they were shooting at a poor defensless snake here, a five year old boy is dead. Tragic.

Yes it is I'm not denying that, it's terrible, and the reason behind it is the most rediculous thing I've heard, it is something that should never have happened in the first place, and had the most disasterous outcome afterwards.

More people die/get bitten trying to kill snakes that if they just left them alone, but this is something else.

I imagine that wouldn't have been enough fun. To be honest I pictured some redneck guy, but apparently it was a women. Was called to be a rattlesnake, and ended up being a harmless ratsnake. Even if it was a rattlesnake... not sure what the problem would have been.

I do not know what I would do to a person that did something like that, shortcircuiting a son of mine's 5 year old life.. but it would not be a good thing. ( little more would matter to me, afterwards. )
