  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lol its like taboo to admit what our nitrate levels are lol yeah im thinking maintaining that perfect 10 to 20 range is unralistic but would like to be closer long term with adult fish.

Eventually but thats further down the road... need to make some changes to the house

Nice! Will that be used for your wc's or part of the sump Jaws ?

20x large polys and you were able to maintain it like that.... woo hoooo im calling toyin right now lol joking.

I think i am down to 7 LJ's now and probably gping to sell the palmas palmas

DMD123 DMD123 most of your polys are 15+ right ? Im thinking our bioloads will be similar though i only have 1 cichlid. You think you could run a nitrate test before your next wc?

Im the worst when it comes to actually testing. I just do my regular water changes and feed. I really dont think about it. My fish are healthy and growing so I dont fuss about it.

I dont test on a reg basis but do continue to test every few weeks especially when they arent near adult size, i feel like bioload changes with the size... plus i just like doing it, just part of my routine i guess.

I don't test on the regular either. Poly Stock is 18"-22, 8 characins, and 1 datnoid 6x2x26 / 1 FX5 / WC 5-6 days. Felt even at 13 polys that parameters were manageable. My experience is their one of the lowest producing bio load fish per size out there.
