my ornate i never seen him eat for months... i mean 6 months or so and was always hiding... i wanted to give him away at 1 point.. he came around now and is the most active i got in my polys.. eats daily but not alot... i don't worry about bichirs when i don't see them eat.... they seem to be very hardy like snakes who only need to eat once in a few while...
