Polys in the Storm!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was thinking about this too since it might affect Atlanta. Whenever the power you'd out, I throw hydrogen peroxide and potatoes into a bottle, poke a few holes in the lid, and wedge it between the driftwood. It reacts with the potatoes and releases O2.
I hate the auto correct on my phone... It's supposed to be goes, not you'd...

As stated above good luck, obviously we all worry about our pets and need to do a good job keeping them safe, but you need to stay safe first to be able to provide for them.
If you can get a battery operated air pump and some pcv pipes small and a couple elbows you can draw water up through the media like and under gravel filter. Put the pipe in or over the media with an air stone inside then out at the top of the water with an elbow facing across the tank to create current. The air stone will create lift and start pulling water from around the media and up the tube out the top and across the tank.
Again stay safe!

pretty pissed off. Was supposed to have all the battery powered air pumps delivered through 2 day prime...ordered on Monday.....However, did not receive any of my fish supplies due to hurricane delays. This sucks.
This is exactly why I'm using hydrogen peroxide... And I advise you do too.

It's only when you need something to work that problems occur. With the hydrogen peroxide, there aren't factors like batteries, defects, delays, etc...
