I tried giving them frozen krill for a while and no luck, they would only take shrimp and earthworms. I tried frozen krill again yesterday as I had some still in the freezer and they went nuts for it yesterday. I don't know what changed as I didn't starve them at all but I am not going to complain!

Interesting... Mine eats anything. Massivore, krill cut fish... I'm gonna miss him he's shipping out Thursday

I have seen video of them eating pellets but I can't get mine to touch them, who knows, maybe the krill will be the start to them trying other foods.

At least you guys got yours eating, mine has randomly decided to go on a hunger strike this week, but is constantly searching the tank as if looking for food when i feed the small tetras in the tank...

Just hoping he's not hungry atm, since tried everything from shrimp (which he normaly takes readily) to FD Krill, mussels, carnivore pellets, but he aint biting or eating...

Yeah...they seem rather habitual. Seems changes throw them off. For instance I added some freeze dried insects into their routine mix of FD krill and pellets. The eels refuse to eat anything the night.

^ Yeah, whats worse is there is barely any info on these guys, so doesn't seem to be much first hand experience with them..

I mean my Poly isn't thin since he did seem to put on some weight since being in the tank, but yeah, guess its just going to be one of those super picky fish that will eat when it wants, what it wants even if it seems to be hungry...

I feed mine Sunday-Thurs, skip Fridays, skip Sat as I do my 80% water change. They eat in the evenings, floating food stays in the same right corner of the tank. Just stick to a routine.

^ i've been sticking to a routine, but guess they are still fairy new in the tank, so will probably just take a while before they become more aggressive eaters...

Wow I feed mine everyday. He eats like a hog. He's at my buddies house now and eats his diff floating sticks and pellets whereas I included massivore. However if I ever go in to do tank maintenance and move his rocks I have over 100 pounds of rock in there he won't eat for a couple days.
