fishing for food is more honest IMO, catch what you can eat and eat what you catch.

They look pretty tasty to me, I would definitely eat them.
I remember when I was a teenager and worked in a pet store.
There were a group that would come in and look for large oscars that people
would trade in. Later I found out that they cook them.

I imagine they are better eating than LMB. Actually, there are many freshwater fish that are much better eating than the LMB IMO. I've eaten most of the North American freshwater game species and some of the non-game species.

Seeing a picture like that does grab at me, only because I'm jealous and want one of those bad boys in my fish tank!
