Liquid medication dispensed in a medicine dropper makes it easy to medicate a cat.

will be talking to the vet monday for some...... i had to clean the wounds tonight they are still pussing and we started putting neosporin on them to try and help the infection since the pills are not getting into him easily...

wounds look alot better after a night of neosporin....:D

Make sure you are still giving it the medicine and antibiotics.

Also, with puncture wounds, its not always a good thing to have it look better and heal up. sometimes the surface healing and closing up will actually trap the infection inside, and it will be a worse situation.

scab is always being taken off by him.... when i see he does i add neosporin....

Sorry Nic for this injury to your sweet cat... but this is not the dogs fault... he just played too rough... if he wanted to he could have killed this cat in a second... i just think separation of them is in order and be thankful you found this injury soon enough to get the cat on antibiotics...

I totally agree....Im surprised at some of these responses, if the dog wanted to kill that cat there wouldn't just have clean puncture wounds that cats head would be off or neck completely crushed. It is not the dogs fault, animals will be animals. Im sorry for your cat, I agree seperating them or not letting them play is the best alternative. I hope the cat heals up nice, but put yourself into someone else's shoes. What if someone wanted to have your cat put down b/c it injured their rabbit or etc. Just something to think about. Ultimately the owners are to blame, animals are driven by instincts and how we bring them up....Good Luck with your cat....;)

hows little Nudge doing now? like everyone has said-if that dog meant to kill her he would have done so easily. i just wouldnt leave them alone together without a human there to supervise and correct his bad behaviors. The dog isnt going to know any better until its taught that thats a wrong way to handle kitty. And i dont mean beating him either lol..

when he gets rough you have to stop him immediately by yelling "NO!!" or some other command he may know.. "Drop it!!" (thats what my dog knows..).

hope kitty is okay and healing good.. shes really sweet looking.

Sorry bro about your Cat. I hope she heals up fast and well man..

pit bulls need 2 b properly controlled

So does every dog, really....Most dogs no matter the size or breed have a basic prey drive and will attack/play rough with something smaller than themselves if allowed to do so...:)

:iagree: like you said, any dog will do it if they dont know their boundaries.
