Portabuddy's Acrylic Coffee Table Crab Enclosure

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm also eager to see if there are any updates!!

That is one awesome looking tank so far (for crabs!! ^^) and eventually I will summon the courage to order my acrylic for my indoor goldfish tank/pond!! (be brave, be brave) I can't wait to see it when it's done!! ^^

haha darn those bathroom... i mean cmon who needs a toilet anyway... just go outside and use a leaf to wipe... haha... cant wait to see the update tho

man i have two alerady what dose the thirdone need renavation for??? bah, oh well its almost done too...

the bottom ended up being wavey as hell so it got ripped down to size and sanded... 5 sheets later and the sanding is done.

also after trying more abrasive papers 240 worked best for taking the acryic down the fastest. i tried 400, 120 80 and 40, they all clogged up and after a few passes and became worthless... the joint where the loop closed also is now being glued, but thats going to need work too.

i will post some pics when we get started on the base. but for that i need a thicker WELDON... like a 10, with now the stuff u have is thinner then water...

seeing as you are doing your bathroom why not have a tank as the floor would look great that way you do somthing you like whilst keeping the wife happy

lol i was looking at the sink and couldnt help but think that i can make a tabke top fishtank with a sink built in... with fish inside it, Having a top made from 3/4 acrylic with a sunk in bowl sink and clear drain tubes compleatly fulll, but then the logistics of how it would really work fade, i mean i could have a backsplash with a opening of 4" running the length of the table top?

With a arowana in it, since its 3X5 and Desnt need to be deep... but dont get me started.... A Arow comming from amazonian waters doest need much air do that space should be good.

STOP IT STOP ITSTOP IT STOP IT....

Just once i would like to know what it feels like to finish a project before stariong another one...

can u hurry up and get updates. ive been waiting round to see pics of this finished

o.O
