nope, mahseer's dont have adipose fins either.
 
cannot find a yellow tail chalceus, there is one that has yellow fins but still a pink tail fin..... i would like the sci name for the "yellow tail chalceus" please :) (that was for the people saying it is a yellow tail chalceus)

now back to the id. i still say mahseer, but i see what you mean by mahseers dont have that one fin........

i'm stumped.... i would like to know what it is.... it's getting me mad :D

all who would like to follow this topic it is in other characins, an email has been sent to the zoo with a picture asking what species of fish it is. hoping for an answer soon.
