I am into marine fish at this time and have been to every LFS ( well probably half) on the south side of Chicago and do see some stores charging what ever people will pay. I have a friend that opened a LFS last year and his theory is to keep his prices down and he will move the fish and his live corals and it is working very well for him compared to the store he worked at before which is charging 50-75 % more and doesnt sell near as many as he does and the only way that store is making it is by tank servicing

worst ive seen lately is $70 aussie dollars for a juvie Green Severum!!! i just laughed in the owners face!! since then i've been back to check and now it's $4.50 lol

wow the worste i have seen was at a meijers that a large comet goldfish was $18...i was gigling all the way home.
