My First tank was the infamous "goldfish bowl" that I only received monthly 100% water changes; some how the goldfish lived a year. Those were ugly times....

Small goldfish bowl with a comet back in 71', the one you win at "San Gennaro's Feast" for the NY'ers out there..:grinno:

My first was a jd and a sailfin plec in a critter keeper. :(

after that it was a 1 gallon with a goldfish and rosi red, then that upgraded to a 5 and added a few tetras to the mix:irked: ....... then a 30 with gouramies, rams, a pictus catfish, and a few others i cant remeber.......... and then i took a break

now im back with ]v[onster ambition.

started with a 10 then a 30 to grow out an orntae bichir. now ive got the 100 gallon in my sig......

planning a 500 gallon :headbang2

We didn't take pictures of our tanks in the early 1970's. Hell, most people didn't even have good enough cameras to take pictures of tanks. I have socks older than some of you people!

don't have a pic, but it was a 10 gallon with no filtration and 6 goldfish.
my second tank was a 20 gallon with filtration(the whole chabang) but I also had about 20 small fish in there, an apple snail, and 2 common plecos.

My 1st tank was a 20 gallon tank with all kids of crazy stuff in it that should have never ever been in the same tank together. Sorry, no pics.

This thread is good as it keeps us humble, and allows us not to be too hard on newbies ;)
