My First tank was the infamous "goldfish bowl" that I only received monthly 100% water changes; some how the goldfish lived a year. Those were ugly times....
My first was a jd and a sailfin plec in a critter keeper.
I mooved the to a 30..and now the've been put into a much larger tank..
The gt died though....pop eye.
Heres the 30..No pics of the origional.
my dad always hsd tanks around but my first one i think I was 6 or so I won a gold fish at a fair the fish lived for years and years I think my dad is the one that that kept it alive
first tank?? when i was like 4 i had about 30 feeder guppys in a 2 gallon kritter keeper, they bred like crazy! i ended up killin them when i did a 100% water change with uncontioned water
after that it was a 1 gallon with a goldfish and rosi red, then that upgraded to a 5 and added a few tetras to the mix ....... then a 30 with gouramies, rams, a pictus catfish, and a few others i cant remeber.......... and then i took a break
now im back with ]v[onster ambition.
started with a 10 then a 30 to grow out an orntae bichir. now ive got the 100 gallon in my sig......
We didn't take pictures of our tanks in the early 1970's. Hell, most people didn't even have good enough cameras to take pictures of tanks. I have socks older than some of you people!
don't have a pic, but it was a 10 gallon with no filtration and 6 goldfish.
my second tank was a 20 gallon with filtration(the whole chabang) but I also had about 20 small fish in there, an apple snail, and 2 common plecos.
