Praying mantis

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The majority are really easy to keep, just in an old plastic container. Some of the exotic one are really difficult though, they need heat, and the right humidity. The lifespan is about a year

I love mantids. I've had more than I can count over the years. My personal favorite is the Florida bark mantis, Gonatista grisea.

I'm a teacher, and my children have seen praying mantis eggs and hatch sets in the education supply magazines. They are trying to convince me it's a good idea. Any suggestions?

found one in a bush at work and fed it a grasshopper. next day he was still there n i did it again. for a whole summer i dont think it left thw bush and got super fat being hand fed daily. customer ended up killing it cuz it was "disgusting" sitting in a bush not harming anything. i was pissed and she didnt get a new car from me.

these are the only insects i like, I dont fux with no spiders. these guys look even nicer as adults.
