I'm not sure about that. I wasn't really observant when breeding mine. Maybe she wont eat while you're present because she think you might be a threat? As I said mine eat almost anything I throw maybe she's just being exrta cautious, check if the food you throw in remains untouched or is it just you're not witnessing her eat.
