Predator fish for classroom

Okay, okay. I'm no expert here, but I do believe a 29 would be a death sentence for anything over six inches long. So Oscar is probably out of the running.

Jewel cichlid is a great idea. There are actually many suitable Jewel species. I believe all are aggressive predators and won't hide from people.

In a 29g I would do a Red Wolf Fish.. they will eat pellets and aggressively go after feeders. They are out swimming whenever people are near the tank..

Here is a video of mine feeding on some feeders.. just mute the song :D

I am a public school teacher and I had a jack dempsey plus some convicts in a 60 gallon. I also had a 29 gallon community tank. As far as summer goes I just put an automatic feeder on the tank and returned to school about every two weeks to check things out. I recommend you do the same.

Crap, now I want one.

i'd go with something with teeth in the 125. the 29 i'd go puffer or you could get some cool lizard. saber toothed triggers are awesome if it would fit. really show some teeth

get an arrowhead puffer
