hence, "bigger tank" as for the chiller, that's the general consensus but has anyone kept one w/out chiller?
A few people have tried, and its never worked long term. Trout usually do really bad above 65*.

I have a redbreast sunny that I love. Very active and curious. He is always swimming around and investigating. He also keeps the peace. At 4" he gets between my oscars when they fight, never seen aggression from him though. Having said that, I used to have a larger redbreast that was a bully, he beat up on my bass and pickerel if they ever came out of hiding. They can have some amazing color to them, mine has a blue tint to his body. Also an aggressive feeder and does not let the greedy oscars eat everything. He actually steals food out of the oscar's mouth. I would look into a sunfish species
