Pregnant and not really eating?

My p. motoro stingray is pregnant - yay for that! I can see the pups moving around inside her but not as much as earlier. What's not so "yay" is that it looks like she's not really eating anymore. At least she hasn't been eating in front of me the last 2-3 weeks. What's going on? I know that it's not good but what I doesn't know is what's the reason. Shouldn't she be eating like hell all trough her pregnancy? Plz help

toss a few guppies in. then you will know for sure if she's eating. Or does she have friends with her that will eat the guppies?

scott s: Actually I don't know. But i've seen the pups moving around since march/april

AdzyHany: The other fishes in the tank would eat them before she get's the chance. But she actually ate red cherry shrimps the other day But then again - that's nothing special.

This video is about 3-4 weeks old and they're not moving as much around as there!

Many times a female ray will stop eating a day or two before giving birth but Ive never heard or 2-3 weeks. Maybe try to feed a favorite food such as earthworms. Good luck.

I was seeing movement like that about a month before my last 2 pregnant rays gave birth. In both cases they ate like pigs right up until the day they gave birth. Its concerning that she isn't eating but atleast your still seeing some movement so the pups are still alive. Good luck, she should be giving birth any time now I would think.
