Pregnant and not really eating?

I've heard that sometimes the female will ingest some or all of the pups from inside the womb when something is not right, i hope this is not the case where your ray is concerned but it could explain why she is not feeding much.
 
me to buddy, do you still see any movement at all? and how far along is she with the pregnancy? and is this her first time?
 
motoro magic: Thanks! Yea they're still moving inside of her but not as often as earlier. I'm sure they're (or some of them at least) is still alive 'cause somethings going on in there :)
I really don't know how long she's been pregnant. It's her (and my ;)) first time!
 
Well i hope everything turns out good in the end mate but it is strange that she is not scoffing herself stupid with food, hope she starts eating again soon and good luck.
 
Thanks mate. I was feeding them about 15 min ago but she's still not interested. I'll keep my fingers crossed and try to be patient - Guess there's nothing else to do.
By the way... The only time she's moving around is upside down the glass sometimes and when the male is getting too close. Is that normal she's not very active in her pregnancy?
 
My big Superspot Motoro was always active throughout her pregnancy's and only stopped feeding the day before she gave birth. Have you checked your water quality as sometimes this can affect them and put them off their food. I would test your water parameters to see if they are ok.
