Primitive Fishes Update - random shots - gar, bowfin, lungfish

finally got around to snapping some new pics today...it's been a while since i've had time. mainly took pics of the original "gar-den" and the Lepisosteus species gars in there...also throwing in shots of gars' fellow holostean (Amia calva) and a marbled African lungfish (Protopterus aethiopicus congicus).

bonus pic is from a recent conference/research trip to Louisiana

the lungfish is about 27-29" right now...kind of hard to get an accurate measurement --
