thanks for all the comments everyone! reGARding the lungfish, that was the first fish i ever received through "the mail"...he's almost 6 years old now.

thanks weylin; in response to your question, the fish in the first pic is a longnose gar (Lepisosteus osseus).

the photo ID of fishes are as follow:

1. longnose gar (Lepisosteus osseus)
2. spotted gar (Lepisosteus oculatus)
3. shortnose gar (Lepisosteus platostomus)
4. Florida gar (Lepisosteus platyrhincus)
5. spotted gar (Lepisosteus oculatus)
6. bowfin/choupique (Amia calva)
7. marbled African lungfish (Protopterus aethiopicus congicus)
8. myself & allilgator gar (Atractosteus spatula)
