yea in action , im just curious,

Just drop it in your filter, if it fits. You can tell when it is spent because it turns from white to light brown.

Sounds tempting...I just read BigAls specs....Bleach is used to recharge it...I might stick this stuff in my FilStar bio-chamber, SO how do YOU recharge yours....Can't I just soak this stuff over night in water with medi-salt, maybe???

Nope, it takes bleach to recharge it.

Yep, have to use bleach and then a chlorine remover.

If I use purigen continuously and then have to remove it to recharge it, will the tank go through a 'mini cycle' as the filter media will not be used to the quantities of ammonia that were being removed by the purigen?

Thanks
Brian

That is the same thing i was thinking!

Purigen is not for removing Ammonia, although it will. Your biofilter should remove the ammonia. Purigen is not a substitute for biomedia.
