Well it's game over, he got some wierd blisters on his nose which swelled and got a suspected bacterial infection. I reckon the granulousus stabbed him as he liked to fight over his cave. Treated with salt, antibiotics and methelyne blue, lost him two days ago...

My sympathies. Must have been a freak accident. My specimen so far has proven exceedingly hardy.
Not sure tbh, I need to make a decision on whether to keep the dovii. It's no good continuing to add fish when he is approaching 12", he's still behaving bizarrely! Happily living in the 300 with oscars, convicts, spanner barbs and 5 star generals!?
Guess it's a matter of time, if/when he snaps I will decide on community or dovii.
Need to sell the granny before he gets massive, after accidentally buying him (store guy told me he would only get 8" and he was miss labeled) not got round to moving him on.
I still have a good few cats dotted around various tanks, mucosis, raninus, 4 lined, suncat, stripped Dora's, among a few...
