can't wait till my 2 1.5-2 inchers get bigger! when i got them thy were very skiney and I am building them up so they will be nice and chubby(not fat)... cool fish, mine are low quality, 1 has a deformed tail and nice red coloration and one has a good tail but not much red... Oposite problems! still, nice fish...
 
If they're just 1.5" their colors won't be a fraction of what they'll end up like... plenty of growing yet. FMs best colors don't really develop till they reach 3" and even then the coloring is still a work in progress right throughout their lifes.

He's doing great....just still as grouchy as ever. I tried pairing him up with a few different females and he is just not interested. He was a rescue pick up and had been kept by himself for over 3 years so getting him use to tankmates was a little challenge. I haven't given up on him and he is one of my absolute favorites. I will get some more pics tonight as his streamers are growing back and his coloration is even better than before. How is your crew holding up?

Agree..mine was not very showy when I bought it at 1". Now it's 4" and a stunning specimen.
