PS3 OR Xbox 360 SLIM

right!!! he clearly hasn't seen PlayStation move... wii don't have a prayer, unless new system... and ps3 move functions just like kinect only has controllers too, which is way better!! this whole thread i have bashed xbox and wii... not because they are not fun or don't have good games... but becasue ps3 is just superior in everything.... it came out a year later... lol a year in anythig electronics is just like a century these days... when the new xbox comes out the ps3 will still have life left in it, so start bashing away on us then, but until then you aint got a pot to piss in with this argument.... and even at that point we will just say "bout time they updated that junk" "hope the cd tray holds the disk" lol... light weight pos... xbox is all bout dollars.. ps3 gets bashed when they first come out for higher price... well you clearly get what you pay for!! i love cheap people... they crack me up!! changing the batteries in the 360 and wii never got old... think about all the xtras you pay for... the ps3 was ready to go out of the box!! 5 min controller charge for days of playing...

I like the wii better because you can get more games for it and it's more fun to play.

I appreciate that this thread happened when I was shopping for a console for a christmas present, I got a ps3 with the move bundle, I so hope its a hit, its the most expensive gift I have ever gotten anyone.

Wow, i didn't think anything productive would come out of this thread but glad it helped you out.

kingkarter, you're in the minority. If this were a dinner party, the wii would be in the living room with the kids sippin on juice boxes while the xbox and ps3 are in the kitchen drinking with the adults. lol! i have all 3 and that's just nonsense

yea, I always felt wii was more family friendly and for kids. but for serious gamers it had to be the xbox or ps3

I see what you did there. You mentioned GT5 3 times and forgot to mention Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts as one of the 360 exclusives.

I'd go with the 360 Slim. It's failure rate is much lower than 30%(only the older, non-slim models have this failure rate) and has wi fi(you still will need to pay for xbox live though...but it's completely worth it).

Banjo who? wasnt that one of those kiddie games for N64?

Fully afree with you brad. But this was kinda a bad poll idea. Theres such hardxore fans on both sides that it causes arguements so bad its not worth it

Agree, I prefer 360, because at the moment I bought it (2007), PS3 didnt have any games, and cost was twice as much. Also at that time, there was no dual shock controller, only that piece of junk sixaxis. And there was only like a 90gb version I think, which was like $700 while the 360 elite was 120 gb and $499.

Now there's GOW3, MGS, GT5 which are some of my favorite games, dual-shock is back, it no longers look like a shiny betamax.

Bottom line, If I had more money and time to spend on video games, I'll just get both.

I have both.. The halo series are amazing game, but so is gt5.
I guess like alot of people said it's personal choice.
But damn i love my ps3.

when i have company over and we just wanna do some quick fun gaming in the living room, the wii is the way to go. perfect when you're gathering everybody up just before you go out on the town. nice lil social gaming, perfect for parties too, ANYONE can play it.

however, for serious gaming....i think we all agree except for kingkarter that you need to go with the big boys

If microsoft produces a decent system next gen I will buy it. I love microsoft but the xbox was a failure. BTW Apple is rumored to be joining the console wars next gen.
