SYRACUSE -- You're probably familiar with the story of "Rocky" the Snakehead fish. He's the more than two foot long fish state environmental official want to confiscate from its owner and destroy because it is illegal to possess in New York. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation says the fish is a predatory invasive species.
But Rocky has become a celebrity, and supporters have started an online petition in support of the fish. Today, Action News photographer Jason Hy spotted this show of support projected on a building alongside Interstate 81 in Syracuse. The sign of support is visible on the left from the southbound lanes, just after you pass the Adirondack Furniture store.
