Going to give everyone a step by step of everything that will be going into putting this tank back together. I recently brought this tank home from Coolmbu's house in Michigan. My second trip to his house first was a 330 gallon and then the 600 gallon big boy that will be a final home to my rays and their tankmates. This trip started out at 6am and didn't end till 10pm for me last weekend. 660 miles and a lot of talk time with my father. The tank has sat for a week while I put some supplies together to rebuild the plumbing and think about how I was going to do it.

Here was everything spread out in the garage. The original setup at Coolmbu's house had all the filtration in another room. Not happening here. After getting a couple friends and Mybluem3 to help put the tank on the stand it was time to cut some holes to house the filtration under the tank. Ran out of steam so I will finish cutting the other hole and clean them up to be able to attach doors to the stand for easy access.

For those who are curious here is a list of everything going into the rebuild.
100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank
2 - Danner Hy-Drive 4800's
1 - 30 gallon bio reactor
1 - EasyPro EPW4 air pump
1 - 800 watt heater
1 - Rancor electronic temp controller
1- VorTech MP40W
And misc. plumbing supplies.
That's it for today. Will have more tomorrow as the build continues.

Well my fingers are crossed that I have no leaks in the plumbing, considering it is not my favorite thing to do. This is my temporary home for the tank till we move out of our townhome. Will post more later.

Looking good.

Looking good.

Thanks Pharaoh. Had one leak last night. Darn return bulkhead had some junk stuck under the rubber washer. Nothing like crawling under 600 gallons of water.:D Told the wife make sure the insurance policy was paid up. Should have it all going today though. I can't wait.
