Python No Spill Clean and Fill

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I built my own as well, but regardless of brand or if you built your own, they are freaking fantastic.

i have a grey colored one i got with buying someones tank and it worked great for short runs but for my longer 25 foot run it kept building up too much pressure and either blowing the hose or blasting out of the threaded swivel part. had to go back to buckets for now

They are an amazing tool.

They come with an attachment that hooks up to your sink. You hook it up & take the vacuum end over to your tank. Turn the water on & the suction from the faucet draws the water out of your tank. When you're done, turn the water off, adjust the temp & twist the sink adapter to the fill mode. It'll push the water from your faucet directly into your tank.

I got one about a year ago. I don't know how I lasted so long without one.

I find my 50' python to suck harder than my 50' homemade one. Not really sure why, but it does.

Either way, it's worth its money x10000000

Nice, and you guys all put the dechlor directly into the tank?

Right now I do 5 gallon bucket trips...lol

Man, I love my python. The only thing that I recommend is that you replace the cheap plastic sink adapter with a metal one one from your local hardware store. Once I replaced that, things have been money!! Yes, put dechlor directly into your tank....

Lol I never thaught about puting prime in then just re filling I just filled 5 gal bucket then dumped it in lol duh. But any way I love mine and yeah buy the metal sink adapter plastic one strips out way to easy the only thing I recomend is if the one you get dosnt have the ball valve on it get one its kind of like an emergency shut off valve lol. O and a tip if you have any isues with it blowing apart at the conections ducttape and leave the vacume (piece that atavches to the sink) open just slightly it helps to lower the presure on the hose but does not efect the performance of this awsome product.

i just bought clear plastic tubing from a hardware store, no attachments at the end. if im draining, i just let the water pour into the sink, and if im refilling, i attach it to my sink. i have something like this for my sink so it fits perfectly: http://www.neatitems.com/images/brass_adaptors_2.jpg

sort of like a super easy DIY, plus you can choose whatever length you want. i only have 15 feet

I prefer to pick up the python hoses when they are on sale rather than DIY. The silicone hose doesn't have stiffen up like hardware store hose.
