Python water changing...

ewurm, just because people who enjoy using the python have commented on this thread, does not mean the general population feels that way. Maybe 75% but hey I'm one of those 25% that dont care for it. I'll stick to my siphon and hose. I have a fitting to hook my siphon up to the sink from a local hardware store that cost me $4.00.

Like it has been said before, suck and throw the hose out the window. Save more water this way.

I can do everything a Python can, Only it cost me $10.00 in part and is just about trouble-free.... actually its completely trouble free unless you are mentally unable to give the initial priming of the siphon...

I have the 50' Syphon, its great for water changes when sucking water out. However I to find the pressure not that great when I am cleaning my substrate. However I have yet to turn both taps on. Hopefully that helps me out a bit.

Sounds like a DIY python just a different way to start the syphon. I think the one thing is as long as it does the job

make sure u have ur sink on full blast sometimes it doesnt work well enough if u dont plus check ur sink n the flow connection has to be on syphon u kno that right not trying to be a jerk I had that problem n my friend told me I wanst using it right make sure ur doing all the things u need to n u'll never question us again I'm sure its a lil thing that u didnt do or think of

The pythons gone. Returned it today. Something else is going to be here tomorrow....

all I use mine for actually is filling. Which saves me hours of time when changing however many gallons I change. I use mine as a regular syphon down to my sump pump to vac and clean with. Even if you don't use it to clean with at all it still saves a ton of time on filling tanks up.
