QUALITY MIDAS??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No, not IMO. Not only that, but the pic that everyone keeps posting is most likely a hybrid. I have seen that photo in the past and there appears to be no provenance associated with it. If you only seek a midevil cross, then that would increase your chances as the color "red" is more prominant in labiatus, than citrinellus. The canals in Florida would probably be your best bet.

Just checked out that link from SharpToothBass and it would appear you're right about that big red Midas.... the owner seems to be breeding Flowerhorns a lot.

I might just stick with my WC Labiatus for now...

Its a simple question... IS THIS A QUALITY MIDAS??? If you don't understand that then don't bother posting. I only wanting people who are familiar and knowledgeable about this species to verify if its a good fish before I buy it.:duh:
+1 and btw, it's a quality midas to me and a much more redder midas looks a bit off and would've look more lika a rose queen than a midas.. lol

you should get another red devil for your Red devil to hook up instead.

I'm just wanting show specimens.... not after breeders anymore.

My version of show specimen might be different than yours. It's a matter of preference
