i brought rtg home the other day with mashed fins, i have too been thinking about this... personally i decided its totally cosmetic and unneeded...

yer me either i like tehre natural beauty even though mabye its fins are a bit "lopsided" mine isnt btw he is very healthy and lookin great!.

my only issues with these procedures is that how do we know that it doesnt hurt the fish?
i too am all about having the best looking fish but i believe that we need to acomplish this by providing a healthy diet, propper water conditions and a little tlc
