Question On Synodontis Catfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Cool, thanks! The Livingstonii might be a problem. If he eats any fish, he will be re-homed. Or I might go with a predator hap tank..... Just curios, the stock limit on a 6ft 125 for haps would be about 15 right?

I think that you need to do some homework, before attempting to decide what will work in a 125. Overall aggression levels of the species, adult size of the species, all male set up, or mixed m/f breeding group, will all come into play.
This link might help. Good luck.

i have 8 syndo eruptus in a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank... and a mix of many types cichlids...about 50

Thanks for the link RD, definitely need to do a bunch of research. I will look at haps, and then try to decide what I am going to do.

I have been researching mbuna more, but considering the Livingstonii is predatory it is definitely worth look into a predator hap tank.

Sounds like a cool tank, what type of cichlids do you have in their?

really mixed... forntosa, mbuna, haps, flowerhorn, threadfin acara, eyebiter, livingstonii, ventenus, tropheus, convicts, johanni, etc

seriously, i am not good with the names but really is a mix of cichlids
