Questions for Fluval Fx5 canister Owners

Keep us posted PK! I kinda wonder what the store will do. I hope they change out the unit instead of giving you a bunch of lip service.

Apparently fluval said they would be responsible for all the unit if i exchanged the whole thing, But they said u could just exchange the motor unit since i set up everything, so I'll just exchange the impeller/motor

Yes they have extra fx5s in that store and I think I can just get a motor off of one of those and the store will notify fluval for the parts etc.. but i can get one right away, i could get a full replacemen tif i wanted to but i already set up the thing

Hey I came back from the store, they where WAITING FOR ME O.O WITH A new fx5, i was like hey I only need the motor, so I took out MA screw driva and I took the thang off and took off like a horse back home.

ITS QUIET AS A CHURCH MOUSE ever since i got the new motor unit back

fx5 is even more quiet than my existing marineland c-530 which does 530 gph and is same size, so i have no more complaints, I love this filter, this is what i paid for

good service from my LFS and fluval <3
