quick armatus question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
more pics please

thanks, channa.

i'll try for more pix, but it usually hides in that same spot plus I don't have my tripod right now so it's hard to get a pic w/o flash. I'm hoping the balas will work as dithers, but I have a feeling that I'm going to need bigger one and they're going to be an expensive snack, lol

yeah...mine beat up two balas and then the cichla ate them...LOL

ate 2 of the 3 balas so far, lol

ate the last bala a few days ago.

I got a couple 5-6"+ balas today and I'll get more when I see them. It's also going to have more new tankmates on Monday (2 small hystrix, a male and a female :naughty:)

Did you check S. Brdwy for the balas?

not yet. I'm going to call down there tomorrow. I saw the GF had some 4" balas, so I went to check them out and found those 2. I wish I wouldn't have missed the 6"er that FP had.

Just got back from SBT...grabbed the two they had (one was about 7" and the other about 8)

last night after the balas were in for a while, the armatus was swimming around for the first time in front of me. I was so ecstatic. It still usually stays behind the filter inlet, but it ventures out a lot more. About damn time.
