sorry for your loss--it looked like it was a rough way to go. fish are so sensitive to ANY amount of chlorine--the poor thing just didnt stand a chance.

how are all of the other tankmates doing?

the other fish seem to be fine, just really got to the jar.the sad thing was it took 4 days for the big guy to finally give in.after trying 2 different forms of medication he stopped eating then started to bump into the walls, then that was it.:(

Man, really sorry for the loss. I felt the same when I loss my 13'' silver. Although mine died because he jumped, the pain is all the same...though yours I imagine is far greater than mine seeing as how your jar was 5 yrs and all. He was my pride and joy, biggest fish I had, and gone just like that...I dunno y, there have been soo many dead aro posts in the last week, but only yours seemed to have gotten to me, maybe it was the pics. Only thing left to do is hold your chin up, pat the dust of your pants and start over. Best of luck to you and your fish.

Man, that really sucks. I worry about my Jardini as well, even though I haven't had him for nearly as long as yours. I am trying to up the dose of prime as well but I'm afraid of overdosing the stuff. It comes as a powder and is really concentrated.

I really feel for you, guy. Judging by how nice he looked, at least he had a good life in your hands.
