Thanks, will try and get hold of some white bait, will supermarkets sell it on the fish counter or will i have to get some from a fish shop?

i am frantically trying to get pics of him but he does not want to pose but when i do i will post a pic

At your lfs the "whitebait" is sold as lancefish or smelt. Comes in blister packs. I have a rainbow snakehead, I feed him chopped earthworms or the tails off lancefish. He woofs em up, looks like he's eaten a marble, lol.

Oh! and the best way to take a photo is when he's expecting food. Set your camera up first, focus etc, and then feed him.

lol i just feed him some shrimp, but cut it up reel small and when i poured it in he went for the biggest peice and got it whole and managed to get it down which i was really surprised at. It looks like hes eaten a stone lol.
