Rainbow Snakehead

I have always fed mine a mix of meal worms, seafood (all extra fresh as I live in a coastal town) , blood worms, pellets and weekly live fish (Japanese medaka).

As for the coloring, I have found my rainbows got more intense colors as they grew.

I was sold them long ago as blue rainbow.

Yes, they're in the wild, but we're supposed to kill them if we ever catch them and then call Game and Fish....
