ok so my 1/4 lb should in theroy last me and my 4, 1.5-2 weeks....give or take maybe less...update on the other male i have...he has been munchin all day, dispite tankmate removel, and sand removel...

Just to be safe about it...since your baby was a WC and as most likely your surviving ray is also, you may want to dose your tank with Prazipro.

99.9% of all WC rays have gut parasites (well maybe not 99.9% but damn near all of them do). Did you notice at anytime stringy poop?

And if one or both of your Rays had internal parasites some of your other fish could end up with them. Just a thought for you to consider.

i will be getting some Prazipro to add when i get my females...maybe sooner depending how long you should treat rays with it...at first the poo had some stringyness to it but after the salt treat ment it has subsided from what i can tell...i will still treat to be safe...any recomendation on length of treatment?

Just follow the dosage directions. That stringy poop was a sure give away. Although the salt treatment may have mitigated the problem, it wouldn't have cured it.

Dose your tank and when you get your new Rays quarantine and dose them also.
