Oh i would not be suprised if all but the Fogo are available at the right price and maybe even the fogo it's what you want to spend man believe me their are some nice ones out there ...Just takes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Thats allWhat are you willing to pull out of your fat walletBesides it would not be collecting if you just snapped your fingers and had it ..At least for me thats what pushes the hunt ya know

you don't think any rich person might already have all these here in the US? maybe, I don't know but I do know that if there isn't. I hope to be one of them soon and share some pictures/videos of it.

ohh people have them. its just that they are extreamly hard to come across. i wish people would share them.

It's funny how all the super rare species of cichla (and any fish for that matter) always end up in Asia and Europe. The fish follow the money. With the right connections down south, and the right connections for an importer, you could get them.

Heck, even do your own collecting trip. Gather the required permits, bribe and payoff the required officials, and ship the fish to the exporter/importer of your choice. Again, it all comes down to how much time and money you wanna invest. Most folks can make the time, but don't have the money. Those with the money, but not the time, will just pay others to do it for them.

Those fish are not really that rare, only rare to the hobby. No one can or will export many of them. I personally think the Fogos put any other strain of cichla to shame with the bright color. It's too bad we don't see more of them. I would probably get rid of all my other tanks and fish for a few of those.
