hello there people looking for a bit advice again, Whats the rarest CA/SA cichlids in the hobby and how much do the cost each, reason for this question is i live in the UK and want to make an order from the USA but the minimum order is 150 bucks so i might as well get something super rare thanks any help much appreciated

a lot of them ugly ones are rare. But once you see any in the market, they wont be rare any longer. They will be bought and bred.

imo, none of the nicer looking cichlids are rare.

nice looking and rare ;)

not to many rare ones out there in my opinion, i think rare depends on the area the buyer is in.

Exactly. For instance, until recently, 'Geophagus' pellegrini was about as rare as it gets in the US and Canada, but was available in Europe. Realisticly, only other UK members could really pipe in as to what is rare over there (with some obvious exceptions like the ramsedi).

I have several rarer Cichlids and none of them are ugly. Etroplus Canarensis, P. Polleni. P. Menarambo, Cichlasoma Ornatus, Ivanacara Adeketo, Laetecara Bulkelkolf etc. all of which are some of the most beautiful fish I've ever kept.
