rarest CA/SA cichlids

I think Festae are more hard to find than exactly rare. It all depends where you live I guess. The first time I ever saw one was on this site. i couldn't find them near me for a year. Now I see fry everywhere around here! Some areas tend to have them pretty regular.

some great answers so far ive had a look at some of the suggestions and i think the festae looks great, does anyone know the scientific name for a true festae because im getting confused as im getting mixed answers of the net.

No True SA/CA Hybrids remember? (Festae being pretty much a Amphilophus) ;) but seriously lets avoid that subject because i nearly got banned last time ;)

Do you mean the Red Hump Eartheater? because these guys are more common than convicts in the UK :P lol
