well either way its never hitting 18 inch in a year i bet you i have a 400g before the end of the year... you on the other hand have 10 possible 12inch fish in your 240 already and all your other smaller tanks are stocked inc a dovii. what are your plans for your dovii? YOU got a 600g...no you havent lol.

and maybe alot of oscars would reach that if they were treated like dovii and not shoved in a 75g cause the pet shop said it would be fine, cruel world for a baby oscar. theres lots of people on here that will tell you a 180 or 150ukg is fine for a male dovii and you know it, if i end up with another 180 which are ten a penny here second hand, then so be it. the aro is going as are some of the others, the only two fish i plan on keeping long term are my dovii and butti.
Oscars might hit 18 once in a blue, but will never get as wide as Dovii I'm talking about the with of it's back. My 10 inchers back is wider then my 15 inch red devil. Plus the sheer power of the mighty Dovii is hard to match. Some times my female pisses of my male and it sounds like a rock dropped and smacked the glass but it's him moving fast all of a sudden and just smacking the water. That's some serious force, I couldn't imagine Mel O's big 25 incher above getting pissed off!
