rays eating other fish?

i would put the aro in myself but again its still a risk the aro might pick on the rays too .

what size are the rays ?

the oscars are 7''-9''
the arowana 11''
the rays 10-12''

the ray trying to eat the oscar is 12" just to give you an idea.

be carefull if your oscars are big though. ive got mine in from small so he gets used to the rays . as ive heard they can try and eat the eyes of the rays.

on the other hand ive heard loads of storys of aros atacking rays and you see them together all the time so i dont see it as any less or more of a risk with an oscar.

Silver arowanas seem to do exceptionally well with rays. If you aren't too attached to the oscars, you can try and put them together and see what happens. It works for some people, but just pay attention to the tank for the first few weeks and you should be fine.
