Edit...good thing I called before driving 25 miles. gotta call before 3 to get the guy I need. I'll refridgerate the sample. The first one went down the drain this morning, but another similar one was in there.
She should hang on another day. I hope.
I keep her tank covered with a balck trash bag. just enough light comes through to see her in there. The lights are on down there about 16hrs for the Tilapia to breed. so she is staying shaded during that time and I'm changing 2 pitchers of filtered water per day with the in tank filter and still using properly measured BB additive, salt, and Epsom salts with each pitcherfull of water. PH is constant.
I'll take samples of water with me tomorrow. I'll get a better test kit soon, but so far, I've been monitoring ph with a properly calibrated digital ph probe. I have a test kit, but it is old and I don't trust the results. It's like 8 yrs old...that old.
