If you can't keep a ray responsibly than my recommendation is to get a hamster. But watch out that can bit. So I guess you would want to remove there teeth them? Wait I got it... go with a pet rock, that should be safe enough for you.

Plastic surgery is a personal choice. Most dog tail dockings are for their dog's benefits and safety. Circumcision is a common sanitary procedure.
