fake we had real before and the needles are sharp and there sappy not to mention needles everywhere i can go on..just do yourself a favor and get a fake one that you can store over the years and put back up..the only pain is getting it assembled ha

The problem we ran into with the fake was storing it. With real trees there is a mess, but only once a year.
We've never celebrated anything at my house, so no tree. I honestly don't feel the urge to start either. I mean, it looks really nice when you get a tree and decorate it, but just the thought of having to take it all down afterward...
get a real tree its 10 times better in looks and it also fills your house with a fresh smell 
anyways a good tree cut by yourself is like 20$ and all you need to do is add luke warm water mixed with sugar and itll thrive all the way till january 7th

Your missing out! Where do the presents go when you were younger. I remember always waking up at 6am or before and our parents always saying we had to wait till 7. We would just sit in front of the tree and wait or poke around the presents.
We also always got to open up a smaller one Christmas Eve. We always had a "together" gift too, I had a brother.I haven't had a tree in my house in a couple of years because we celebrate the holidays with family so they can deal with the tree.
But I always had real ones growing up, like everyone said the smells amazing! And for the pine needles we always put a sheet down around it and they even sell fancy holiday ones for the purpose of catching the pine needles.
I have to say tho, the real funs is after the holidays, drive around in a pickup and collect trees from off the street and have a huge bonn fire!
