Real or Fake Christmas Tree?

We used to buy real ones, all of them legal and of the DOUGLAS species, the look and the smell its amazing.

Always decorated with golden lights and bells. In my opinion a very elegant look.

But now my family is a mess, I think we are not even celebrating christmas.

I prefer real, my tree hugging wife likes fake.lol Soooo, that means we have a fake tree. Christmas trees are grown on farms. It's not like Canadian wilderness is being mowed down for christmas trees. They are grown for this reason, and cutting them down has very little to no impact on nature.

I knew right from the get go we'd get some tree huggers in this thread
Real all the way.. I always loved going to cut down the christmas tree with my ma, dad and two sisters.. It was always a national lampoons type of moment!

Always been real for my family back when my grandad was alive he would go up to the cottage (3 hour drive) and cut down 2 white spruce or balsam fir (1 for my parents and i and one for him and my grandmother) but as he got older my grandmother switched over to fake trees. We still get real ones though, we go out to this place that specificaly grows christmas trees now.
