realistic pond size for rtc,tsn,silver aro,and oscar

Do you mean for life? Because if you mean for life you're looking at around 4000 gallon minimum. And that oscar would become lunch for the RTC.
 
You should read the catfish page where they have a sticky for a RTC. They can get 5 feet plus in the right environment and live to 20 years or more if taken care of properly. The record caught RTC is over 5 feet and 100 pounds.... And that TSN will get 4 feet as well. A RTC needs a minimum of 1500 gallons for itself.....
 
holy crap i did not know that they got that big cause i was hoping for dimensions of like 8'long 4'wide and 3' deep
 
That would be an ok size for a TSN...... by itself
 
darn that is upseting and what are the odds of the actually getting that big? I MEAN LIKE 5 feet caus i thought as long as they had the capability to lie side ways they were fine
 
RTC do get huge but I don't think it would take 4,000 gallons , although it would be AMAZING to be able to provide a 4,000 gallon tank , I know of a few member keep them in 600 gallon tanks
