I have been very interested in any thread dealing with tenecor simply for one reason. It is impossible to do some of the things I have in the planning stage with glass. So it would either be the company from las vegas or tenecor.

The one thread which really had bad things to say about tenecor had the op suddenly drop when called to task on his thread, he just stopped posting. For me that thread lost all credibility when the person who is basing tenecor does not deliver his coup de grace when he should.

Very interested to see the end of how things turn out for you.

I saw the same thread when I did research on where to get my tank from. I thought the same thing as you did that it was odd that the OP didn't come forward with any kind of resolution, good or bad. In the end I decided to just go for it and so far things have gone smoothly, the tank is in the garage and new lids should arrive shortly. No complaints here.

The one thing I would add to my previous post, if I could actually edit it, would be to say that I'm assumming that I have all the plumbing and gear needed to set it up. I haven't put it on the stand yet and haven't gone through the multiple boxes of gear that came with the tank. I've got my fingers crossed that it's all there.

I say another 10 Clown Loaches, a cloud of Tiger Barbs & maybe a random SA cichlid or large gourami to round it out. That is a ssssswwwwwwweeeeeeet tank Bro! You going with sand, gravel, bare bottom? Any plants?

I've thought about adding to my Clown Loach pack, they are my favorite fish.

As far as substrate, I got some Peace River from Caribsea. I think that substrate will work nice with the loaches and should be good for a sting ray, if I go that route.

I'm not going to do plants in the tank, but I've though about planting the heck out of a 55 gallon and run some filters between the two tanks to circulate water between them. That way I could get the benefits of having plants and they wouldn't be eaten by the fish. I'll have to see how much space I have.

sweet tank dude im planing on getting one with the exact same dems....... if u can find some nice wild oscars definatly add them..... im thinking the same thing as u not to exotic and crazy fish........ i was planing some thing like 4 oscars like 6 tinfoils a group of 16-20 clown loaches maybe a pair of reticulated rays(can get for $25 each) probly a group of 4 pimelodus ornatus if i can find them and probly a bunch of other smaller fish to fill it up but it all depends might take out the tin foils for some other schooling fish.........

Just had a case of deja vu. Your stock list is almost exactly the same as mine, to the fish. I'm even toying with the idea of reticulated rays as well. I'll have to see what I can get when I'm ready (rays that is).
